Labs
Lehman-Roberts Company owns and operates six lab-testing facilities located at each of our asphalt plant sites to better serve our operations. From the aggregate we use to the mixes we design, quality is our first priority. With state of the art testing facilities and Level 3 certified asphalt technicians, we have established a reputation for producing some of the finest asphalt mixes in the Mid-South region. We steadily strive to be the best quality asphalt producer in the market.
Our lab testing facilities are equipped with a full range of capabilities to guarantee that each mix design meets premium standards. With an in-house asphalt pavement analyzer (“rut tester”) at our main lab, we have the capacity to measure and assess deformation, cracking and asphalt gradations. Our labs also serve as the primary testing facility of aggregates of our local limestone suppliers and our affiliated company, Memphis Stone & Gravel Company. We are committed to certifying that each load of aggregate reaches the right specifications before the customer receives it.
Lehman-Roberts Company asphalt has routinely been the first choice for the Tennessee section of the NCAT Pavement Test Track. The 1.7-mile NCAT track is the national center for testing mix designs and asphalt performance.
STONE AND GRAVEL
Our sister company, Memphis Stone and Gravel Company, supplies the highest quality construction materials in western Tennessee, northern Mississippi and eastern Arkansas. These products include a variety of materials, such as:
