SAFETY ISN’T JUST A CORE VALUE FOR US — IT’S A PART OF THE FABRIC OF EVERYTHING WE DO, INCLUDING:

• Appointment of all foremen as safety supervisors, responsible for continued training, as well as setting a good safety example for their team members
• Daily attention given to the correct maintenance of our equipment resulting in machines that are safe to use
• Provision of personal protective equipment for our team members
• A hazard communication program, including the location of material safety data sheets and the proper handling of hazardous materials
• A lock-out, tag-out program that prohibits team members from working on energized equipment of any type
• A detailed fleet-safety policy ensuring proper driver qualifications and responsibilities
• Incident reporting and investigation methods that put the injured employee first, followed by the correction of the behavior or circumstances that caused the incident
• A safety committee responsible for reviewing all safety rules, policies, accidents, etc.
• Evaluating each task, identifying potential hazards, and taking appropriate measures to ensure safety.
• Demonstrating the continual mindset of evaluating the task at hand and asking, “what is the potential effect on the safety of my co-workers and myself?”
