LEHMAN-ROBERTS COMPANY WAS RECOGNIZED AS TDOT’S 2016 REGION 4 SMOOTH RIDE AWARD RECIPIENT FOR THE RESURFACING WORK ITS CREWS COMPLETED ON I-40.

TDOT awards only one Smooth Ride Award for jobs costing more than $1.5 million in each of their four regions. The I-40 project had over 100,000 tons of milling and asphalt paving along a 7.44-mile stretch of I-40 and had to be completed between the hours of 8:00 pm and 5:00 am Sunday through Thursday.

Additionally, MDOT presented Lehman-Roberts Company with Mississippi’s Best Thin Lift Overlay Award for its work on State Route 17 in Carroll County. This job was completed by the southern field operations crews, as well as the crew at Plant 1 in Winona, Miss.

The Associated General Contractors Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA) program is the industry’s elite safety excellence awards program. Lehman Roberts Company was honored to receive the 2016 Safety Culture Award from the Tennessee Chapter. This award is given to the company whose management shows commitment to safety through the amount of safety training sessions, new program implementation and best practices during the year.
